He is Norway's jazz champion, known in rock history as the record producer who created "Bergen Beat," Norway's version of "Mersey Beat." But it was when he took to television in the mid-1960s that he conquered the country with his sometimes cheeky and exuberant humor. Together with Harald Heide-Steen Jr., he became known as Wesensteen, with holiday bishop Fjertnes, the Root Vegetable Council, double fustasjopphengsforkoblinger, and many other crazy ideas. On his own, he became Fleksnes in eternal battle with Modern, Olderdølen Bør Børson Jr., Hovmester Leopold in Sommer i Tyrol, Jeppe in the musical of the same name, and many other characters. Rolv Wesenlund has engaged and entertained us for over 40 years, and here we have collected examples of gems in both black and white and in color. The joking, singing, even philosophizing Wesenlund is included.
